The Council is excited to host our Fall Roundtable event at the PISD Admin Building, 2700 W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075, on Thursday, September 19th, at 9:30 am.
The monthly Delegate Meeting will follow at 11:00 am for Presidents, Council Delegates, and Principals.
This roundtable is open to all PISD PTA officers. It’s a great opportunity to connect with Council officers, ask questions, and network with other volunteers.
NOTE: The event will be held in a single large group setting rather than breaking out into officer-specific rooms.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Council Delegate Meeting: September 19th
Attention council delegates, presidents, and principals! We warmly invite you to join us for our upcoming Council Delegate meeting on September 19th, following the Fall Roundtable. As elected or appointed representatives, you play a vital role in representing the interests of your campus PTA at the Council level.
Each campus within Plano ISD is allotted three votes at Council Delegate meetings: one each for the Principal, the PTA President, and the Council Delegate. In case of absence, an alternate can be designated, but please ensure the Council Secretary is informed of the alternate prior to each meeting. We look forward to your active participation and valuable input as we work together to support our students and schools.
Successful students are everyone's business, and successful schools build successful communities. We understand that members of our communities may want to support multiple schools, and now there's an easy way to do it with our Community Membership packages at PlanoPTA.org.
Choose from City, Senior High School Feeder Pattern, or Elementary School Feeder Pattern memberships. It's the perfect way for alumni, local businesses, citizens, and officials to show their support for a group of schools and PTAs. Simply select the package(s) that include the campuses you wish to join, and Plano ISD Council of PTAs will handle the rest—facilitating membership notification and transferring funds to those local PTAs and Texas PTA.
Our goal is to help community members and local PTA/PTSA chapters in achieving the PTA vision of making every child's potential a reality.
Legacy Community Membership Package by November 30th
Our Legacy Community Membership Package includes PTA memberships to honor the four Plano PTAs closing at the start of the 2025 school year: Davis and Forman Elementary School PTAs and Armstrong and Carpenter Middle School PTAs. Funds raised will be allocated to each PTA, allowing them to plan and enjoy special programs, activities, and events in their legacy year. To maximize the impact of these contributions, donations will have a set deadline of November 30, 2024, ensuring timely distribution and use of the funds.
